  • The Hotel Cottesloe opened its doors in 1905. Originally a wooden building it is on the corner of John Street and Marine Parade and was designed by C L Oldham. In 1937 it was remodelled in the Art Deco style 1995

  • These were Perth's first night tennis courts and were opened in 1924. They were sited on the corner of Swanbourne Terrace (now Marine Parade) and Warnham Road, before Napier Street was extended to the beachfront c1930
